Washington Wildflower Engagement Season

As a wedding and engagement photographer, Spring and Summer are all about the Washington wildflower season. Few things are more romantic than dancing with your future spouse surrounded by the beauty of nature — especially when that nature is brimming with all of the colors of the rainbow.

Washington Wildflowers start blooming mid-March and continue through the end of summer. The key is to be flexible with your schedule and know where the beautiful fields are!

I travel all over the western part of the state for my clients, from Mount Rainier to the North Cascades, which means I am fortunate enough to get the opportunity to experience so many kinds of wildflowers. Below are some photos from one of my favorite wildflower sessions ever! This lupine field was in full blown and when combined with the gorgeous golden glow from the sun… it was stunning!

Need help finding the right spot for your elopement or engagement? I offer all of my clients assistance with finding picture perfect locations that fit their criteria.
