It was a beautiful Friday afternoon with unseasonably clear skies and warm weather — an absolutely perfect day for a romantic engagement session at Rattlesnake Lake with Peter and Lindsey. With unbeatable views and a quick dip in the chilly lake, we came away with some unforgettable moments and some pretty amazing engagement portraits!
Seriously though, this gave me major “Notebook” vibes, especially with all those geese in the water.
I’d been to Rattlesnake Lake in the past to hike up to the ledge, but I’m a super early bird, so I wasn’t used to seeing so many people at the lake. Fortunately, the crowds started to thin out by the time we started our session.
I had such a great time working with Peter and Lindsey on this session. They told me about getting engaged in Iceland (talk about a fairytale proposal!) and how they love to take on all kinds of adventures together. Their love for each other was so obvious during this session and I’m so happy they let me capture a segment of their love story. Wishing them all the best for their upcoming wedding and marriage!
