Being a small business owner means asking yourself, ‘why would someone want to work with me’ a million times a day. My answer to that question comes in two parts. One: because photography isn’t just about documentation to me — it’s about creating art. I want your photos to become treasured family heirlooms that will be a permanent part of your family history. Two: because I’m constantly thinking about what I can do to give my clients a better, more personalized experience. That’s why there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to the way I do things — no two clients are the same!

I believe that capturing beautiful photos isn’t just about technical skill — it’s also about genuinely wanting to serve my clients better than anyone else could, then putting that care into my work. I want my clients to know they’re in good hands and that they can put their faith in me to capture their session or event with the utmost care.
My philosophy is rooted in continuous growth; I’m constantly competing against myself and trying to surpass my previous work, knowing that the journey of artistic development is never complete. It keeps my work fulfilling and endlessly interesting. My Life
I grew up in the Big Sky Country of Montana before moving to Washington to become a Seattle area wedding photographer. My husband and I immediately fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and knew we would never leave. I often tell people how our corner of the worlds has a little bit of everything: ocean access, mountains, old growth forests, a vibrant and interesting city, and more. There are so many opportunities for true artistry in photography and I feel beyond fortunate to have moved here. I’m always thinking about how I now live in a place I love, doing a job I love, with a family I love. How did I get so lucky?
When I’m not at a photoshoot, editing, or running the other aspects of my business, you’ll find me listening to Taylor Swift on repeat, in the kitchen with my husband (I’ll be the one assisting/supervising/sampling since he’s the actual cook), or reading on the couch with my dog and cat curled up next to me.
My Travel Area
You’ll find I have a wide travel area because my clients’ visions take them all over the state of Washington (and even further). My main service areas include King, Kitsap, Pierce, and Thurston counties as well as the beautiful National Parks of Washington state. However, I’m available for travel in any part of world.
